Pechanga

Hey everybody,
Today the class and myself went to the Pechanga reservation in Temecula. We gathered at the gas station just passes the casino to arrange carpools to the two destinations they have arranged for the class.
The first spot of our travels were just past the reservation. This was like a small plantation of Pechanga's native plants. There was a native Indian who was demonstrating how and what the plants are used for. He gave nice demonstrations which was visually pleasing. There were some nice scenery shots and sun...but the second destination was much more entertaining.Spot 2 was like a small tribal village including tee-pees, bowls, rocks that were used for grinding grains for food or paint, and a live scale hut made of wood, sticks, and mud for the cement like roofing. The sun was going down and it was starting to get cold towards the end of the day but it was still a fun and entertaining experience.
It is always fun to learn about our surrounding area and what a better way to show our experience through pictures.
